Group Coaching and Team Coaching

Group Coaching

Group coaching is conducted via teleconference with groups meeting once a month for 60 minutes. Participants are people from similar professions and positions but are not in direct competition with each other.

In a safe and supportive environment, facilitated by a professional coach, members explore issues, exchange ideas, learn from each other, and hold each other accountable. Members benefit from the collective wisdom and experience of their group colleagues as they work together to problem solve business issues.

Team Coaching

Team coaching is offered in two formats. The first is for employees who work for the same company but who are dispersed geographically and are not part of the same team. Coaching is conducted via teleconference, once or twice a month, for 60 minutes per session.

Sample topics addressed during team coaching sessions:

  • Problem solving
  • Leadership
  • Teamwork
  • Conflict resolution
  • Communication
  • Dealing with change
  • Hiring and retaining top talent
  • “Stress-proofing” yourself and your company

The second type of team coaching is for intact teams whose members are interdependent. Participants may be at the same location or may be dispersed geographically. The sessions may be conducted via teleconference or face-to-face. Length and frequency of sessions will vary depending on the client’s needs and desired outcomes.

The team-building sessions, designed to increase team effectiveness, focus on the “7C’s of an Effective Team”: communication, commitment, collaboration and cooperation, conflict resolution, consensus decision-making, climate, and consideration.

All team coaching programs are customized to meet the client’s specific needs.
